Paul’s experience in marketing communications spans more than 30 years and includes the development of award winning programs for some of America’s leading corporations. He has authored articles for domestic and international trade journals and has served in numerous Board positions. Paul began his career in New York City working for a 4A agency, focusing on business-to-business accounts including Allied Chemical, Union Carbide and Celanese among others. A move to the client side as advertising manager for Krementz & Company, the world’s largest manufacturing jeweler, broadened his background in both broadcast and consumer print media. While with Krementz, Paul authored the Co-Opportunity Program which became a widely used model for the creation and management of cooperative advertising campaigns. Eventually returning to the agency side, Paul formed his own business in 1987 and in 1998 merged with a Madison Avenue agency. In 2006 he formed UpStart Brand Communications. Paul has always had his hand in copy and conceptual development. In addition to his contribution to the creation of award winning ad campaigns, his ads have won innumerable readership studies. A graduate of Upsala College in New Jersey, Paul holds a Masters degree from Boston University. He has served in a variety of leadership positions within the Business Marketing Association including NJ Chapter President. He has also served in the League of Advertising Agencies and as a board member of the NJ Chapter of the Ad Council. He is an adjunct instructor in the graduate program of the Silberman College of Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University and serves on their Executive Advisory Board. |
