BMA-HV TO HOST SEMINAR ON VIRAL MARKETING TOOLS |

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE Milton, NY (April 1, 2008) –The Business Marketing Association of the Hudson Valley (BMA-HV) will hold its April meeting on Tuesday, April 22, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m., at Ship Lantern Inn, Route 9W, Milton. The guest speaker will be Eric Andrews, Vice President, Worldwide Demand Generation for the IBM Corporation. Eric Andrews has been in the marketing industry for the past 22 years. He spent 10 years on the Agency side in Media Planning in New York, Australia, Japan and Europe working for clients including P&G, Budweiser and Mars, Inc. In 1996, Eric jumped to the client side and joined IBM as the regional manager for Asia Pacific media. Returning to the US in 1998, Eric joined the System and Technology Group (STG) to lead worldwide advertising across the division. Over the next 5 years, Eric’s responsibilities varied to include direct marketing, branding and naming, event marketing, and promotions. In 2003, Eric was promoted to Director of Integrated Marketing Communications in STG with overall responsibility for demand generation and advertising and managed over $9B of opportunity annually. In January of 2007, Eric was promoted to Vice President, Worldwide Demand Generation for the IBM Corporation. In this role, Eric has functional responsibility for direct marketing, event marketing and e-marketing for the company worldwide. Interested marketing professionals and those involved in marketing decision-making who wish to learn more about BMA-HV are encouraged to attend the April 22 meeting.
